Phrobis Int'l Sterile Black Blade M.F.K. Multipurpose Field Knife Model 9010 (29414)

This is an all black Phrobis International Marto M.F.K. (Multipurpose Field Knife) with Scabbard. Model 9010. No name on blade (sterile). New old stock item which is the knife and scabbard only without box or any extra parts. This variation was probably made around 1993. It is a modular knife - handle will unscrew from blade. Has a plastic tang, handguard, and scabbard. Very light, weighs only about 13 ounces. This blade is a "first generation" style (has a sharpened, and beveled false edge on both sides). Later in production, a second generation blade was made with an unsharpened false edge. Blade is probably made in Spain. Scabbard and other parts are probably USA made.

 The item pictured is one that was previously sold. The one you will get is in nearly the same condition, and as described above.
