This is a Pakistan Ordnance Factories POF Bayonet. In unissued condition. Has a few scuffs and scratches on the scabbard from storage/handling.2009 manufacture date. Does not include the canvas "frog" that normally would attach the scabbard to a belt. This bayonet has a Bowie style blade that looks similar to the British No, 9 bayonet. From the factory, the blade is not very sharp. Scabbard is also the same British style and is made of steel. The handle is made of hard plastic. Blade appears to be coated and not painted. Blade length is about 6.25". Appears to be a nice, heavy, decent quality bayonet.
Note: It is tricky to get the bayonet in and out of the scabbard. It will take some practice. Please see the video at the bottom of this page that was made to demonstrate this technique. Remember, when pushing the bayonet into the scabbard, it must be parallel with the scabbard. If it starts to turn when inserting, then don't force it. Also, the side of the ricasso without the makers mark must be face the same way as the button on the scabbard that holds the frog.
Also, the type of HK rifle that this fits will require an adapter in order to use this bayonet.
