Genuine 1989 Buck 188 Handguard with No Phrobis Stamp for the M9 Bayonet - USA Made (28434)

This is a genuine Buck 188 steel black handguard without the Phrobis stamp. Rare new old stock, but will have some light scuffs/wear/light rust to the black finish from storage and handling. This is the 1st style of handguards used on the Buck 188, but does not have the Phrobis stamp and appears to be parkerized, rather than blued. This handguard was only used on limited production in 1989, and by 1990 Buck used a handguard with longer bottle opener grooves and made of stainless steel instead of regular steel. Also fits most other M9 bayonets. Made in USA.
